Piedmont Hospital

In 1905, the two physicians who founded Piedmont Hospital were considered “ahead of their time.” And since its beginnings, Piedmont Hospital has been a pioneer in patient care, fulfilling the health needs of its neighbors in Atlanta and the surrounding communities.

The experienced doctors on staff at Piedmont provide compassionate, quality care in an advanced healing environment. In addition, their physicians expand the boundaries of medical science by developing new procedures, testing new medicines and setting new standards for excellence in patient care.

Piedmont combines personalized, individual care with innovative technology. The specially trained physicians and other healthcare professionals on staff are leaders in their respective fields; there, you’ll find a wide variety of specialists in a full range of services.

Piedmont Hospital is a private, not-for-profit acute-care tertiary facility offering most major medical, surgical and diagnostic services. The facility has 481 beds, all private rooms, 3,000 employees and a medical staff of more than 800 board-certified, experienced physicians.

Piedmont Hospital is governed by a 16-member board of directors, including nine physicians. The main campus is conveniently located on 26 acres in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, with facilities across the metro area.
